Heather Fritz featured as today’s YEG A Woman A Day !

What an honour to be featured today on A Woman A Day YEG, a group of incredibly talented and beautiful women! Thank you Katie Stanners at Virgin Radio 104.9 Edmonton.

Being a woman in business is empowering. I love seeing how our city is recognizing woman in all the roles we take on in life.

I'm Heather--wife, mom of four, lover of the country and outdoor adventures, and co-owner of Fritz Tiny Homes, Edmonton's custom tiny home builder.

In January 2020, I decided it was time to pursue something I was passionate about, building a business with my husband--a challenge that continues to inspire and bring joy. We took the plunge, left our corporate careers and have not looked back.”

I am passionate about intentional living and community development. I see potential in every situation and person I meet. It’s how I see leadership, taking responsibility and having the courage to notice and develop potential in others.

This is how I live my life---intentionally--with my husband, kids, hobby farm, and garden. I apply the same sense of possibility to our business and our clients’ life goals

Tiny Home living is about choosing to live intentionally with passion and conviction. I speak daily to people who are ready to step into something more meaningful.

I speak to couples ready to align their home with a heartfelt concern for the environment, women wanting to create a home that will allow their growing children private space to mature and grandparents looking for a way to live close to their grandchildren.

Today more than ever, people are reimagining space. A luxury tiny house on wheels helps clients reimagine their lakeside retirement property, business owners are creatively thinking about operating efficiently out of smaller customized spaces, and others are seeing potential to utilize tiny homes as rentals/airbnb property.

The conversations bring me joy. My goal is to listen first and then create, for every tiny home should be a perfect reflection of its owner.

I serve as co-chair of the Tiny Home Alliance of Canada, working towards advocacy and legalization for the industry. As a builder, I want to be involved in pushing the greater industry forward.

I want to lead from my heart with integrity, creativity, and ingenuity. “

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be featured like this. Thank you Virgin Radio! You are doing a beautiful thing recognizing woman like this.
