Our homes are built for Canadian winters with much attention and innovation put into the building envelope. The goal and outcome is a very efficient and long lasting building. We live and build near Edmonton, AB where our climate ranges from -50 to +40 celsius throughout the year. This is our baseline for what the homes are fit for and are built to withstand.

Hookups for tiny homes all depend on the location where they will be parked. We can build a tiny home completely off grid (solar power, water tanks and composting toilet) or built to tie into city service (electrical hook up and regular toilet run to your sewer line). We can also do a hybrid for the country or anything in between. Whatever suits your needs, we will build to that.
-
The cost of a solar or off-grid package depends on the needs and power consumption of your unit as well as the climate you are intending to park your home. There is ALOT that goes into designing an off-grid system for your needs. Our solar packages start at $30K CAD

Yes! Some of our homes can be built as a modular build instead of on a chassis for placement on a foundation. The scope of these projects are larger and fall under our modular program and will depend on your province or state and how they accept modular buildings. You will need to consult your local municipality to understand what their requirements are for small homes on a foundation and what you allowed to place. Currently, our Halcyon Stay and Studio fall under our modular program and we look forward to releasing more modular models as we grow.
