3 Exterior Features of our Modern Tiny Home

Our 24' tiny home features a modern exterior design! This style was captured through 3 main features: diverse roof lines, metal siding, and WINDOWS. A tiny home is a small canvas to work with, every decision has purpose.

1. Diverse Rooflines

We wanted to create a tiny home with beautiful architecture. Given the dimensional imitations of a tiny home, this is a huge challenge for the entire industry. Using diverse roof lines, we divided the tiny home into 3 distinct sections adding visual depth where structural depth was not possible.

2. Metal siding

Metal siding says style and quality. The combination of standing seam steel and longboard aluminum wood textured siding provides stunning visual contrast and depth.

With no drip edge or overhangs, tiny home exteriors are exposed to the elements more harshly than on traditional buildings. Metal siding assures a maintenance free exterior regardless of exposure, saving our clients time and maintenance costs.

3. Incorporating Glass

Windows are critical to our vision for modern tiny living. With 9 windows and a full glass door, the natural light and ambiance in this little home is incredible.

We chose triple pane fiberglass windows for the R value, strength, durability and excellent thermal performance. Fiberglass window frames are energy efficient, eco-friendly, structurally stronger, and offer a longer warranty.
