Edmonton tiny home enthusiast, bringing awareness to tiny living across Canada

Spotlight on Kerri Timbers: Edmonton tiny home enthusiast, bringing awareness to tiny living across Canada.

All of us with a relationship to the tiny home lifestyle owe it to the trailblazers, advocates, and educators who play a role in growing and legitimizing this way of life. We want to do our part to shine a light on the people advancing the tiny home movement.
We had the privilege of meeting Edmonton tiny home enthusiast Kerri Timbers, and touring her 16 foot tiny home. It is nothing short of adorable!

Kerri is working hard to bring her tiny living vision to life, and has plans to take it across Canada, bringing awareness and advocacy to the tiny home movement.

This little home has an elevator bed stored in the ceiling, a tiny bathtub, unique storage solutions, and a fold down porch deck!!! She has put in heaps of hard work and creativity, with the help and guidance of her friend Steve from FRC Tiny Homes.

Kerri has been a pioneer for tiny homes in Edmonton, founding the YEG tiny home community group in 2014, and leading the way in some of the changes Edmonton has recently adopted. She plans to leave Edmonton, and travel in her tiny home across Canada and the US, inspiring people, and advocating for the tiny home lifestyle.

Kerri has done so much for the tiny home movement in Edmonton, and has such a beautiful heart. We look forward to following all her adventures!

We at Fritz Tiny Homes are excited to watch passionate people acting on their dreams. Kerri is one of those people. Tiny home advocacy is a team pursuit. Together we can do so much for the tiny home movement as we work collectively to push it forward!

You can follow Kerri on Instagram and Facebook @travelingtimbertiny or on her website
